Inside Jackson Hole

February 01,2019

One of the best aspects of Jackson Hole is that it’s a perfect year-round getaway destination for those who love the great outdoors. Visitors enjoy horseback riding, rafting, fishing, wildlife watching, hiking, and skiing, all set against the magnificent scenery of the Grand Tetons. However, Jackson Hole also offers a myriad of fun and interesting indoor activities as well. Arts and culture play a major role in the community and offers our guests access to some of the finest activities and events.

For example, explore the 14 galleries of our National Museum of Wildlife Art. Ideal for both art lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, kids will love the puppet shows, animal costumes, and reading nook in the Children’s Discovery Gallery, while others have access to over 5,000 works of art via temporary exhibits, art events, the museum’s permanent collection, a sculpture garden, and more. For a more “spirited” experience, check out the Jackson Hole Still Works, a local distillery that uses a “grain to glass” method to produce and bottle their own craft spirits on site, using fresh mountain water and locally-sourced ingredients. Tours and tastings are available.
